[Important] Apology and Report Regarding Unauthorized Access to Our LINE Account

Thank you for your continued use of our services

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the great concern and inconvenience caused to our customers and all other parties involved by this incident of unauthorized access to our LINE account

We would like to report on the results of our investigation and the response measures taken regarding the recent unauthorized access incident involving our LINE account

1. Outline of the case

On October 25, 2025, we confirmed that our official LINE account had been subjected to unauthorized access

Following the unauthorized access, we have confirmed that "information that is not factual" and "content containing some personal information" were sent from our LINE account to our customers. These were not legitimate business communications, but rather the result of unauthorized manipulation from an external source

Furthermore, our investigation has revealed no unauthorized access to our core systems or customer databases, nor any data breaches

2. Regarding the cause

an external service provider newly contracted to assist with holiday bank withdrawal operations suddenly became unreachable. Following this, we suspended access rights and changed passwords, but it has been discovered that the login information for the LINE account was overlooked.

This security vulnerability left LINE vulnerable to unauthorized access, resulting in an unauthorized login on October 25th and the distribution of fraudulent messages to customers

3. Regarding files containing personal information

The following is a list of files containing personal information that were sent via our LINE account due to unauthorized access:

◾️File Information

 • Bank name

 • Branch name

 • type

 • Account number

 • Name (in kana)

 • email address

4. Investigation results regarding the files

 • This file was not created by our company

 • Some of the data in this file matched our own data

 • The last modified name in this file was displayed as "To●● Su●●", the name of a third party unrelated to our company

Based on these findings, it has become clear that, although the majority of the data in this case is not ours, there is some data that we cannot rule out as possibly having been leaked from our company.

■ Data that may have been leaked from our company

Information of some customers whose bank withdrawals were handled by the outsourced service provider on Sunday, October 12, 2025

5. Scope of Impact

 • Number of withdrawals handled by the outsourced service provider: 128

 • Number of downloads of illegally sent files from LINE: 7

6. Actions taken after the discovery

 • Fact-finding and identification of the scope of impact

We collaborated with an external expert investigative agency to identify the circumstances and scope of the unauthorized access

 • Blocking fraudulent use

We have suspended access permissions for the LINE account in question and rebuilt its security settings

 • Customer Service

We have begun contacting the 128 customers who may be affected individually

*Customers who do not contact us will not be subject to this matter

7. Measures to prevent future recurrence

We take this situation very seriously and will thoroughly implement the following measures

 • Review of contract types (limited in principle to contracts with corporations)

 • Thorough management of access permissions and passwords

 • Gradual granting of access permissions

 • Enhanced auditing and log monitoring

 • Reinforce security education and awareness activities
